Y’all β€” CALL YOURSELF ON YOUR EXCUSES!! { #legitwhatihadtodo} . πŸ™ŒπŸΌ No one is 100% every day. I know there are days you won’t feel like it. What happens then?! You DO IT anyway. . πŸ™ŒπŸΌ There are times the scale won’t match what you feel. Instead, think about all of the things you have to GAIN. {confidence, health, strength, balance} . πŸ™ŒπŸΌ There are a million healthy options out there. What you make a priority will be a priority. Nutrition is not a puzzle; we tend to make it so much more complicated than it has to be. . πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Change is going to require some serious self-love. Fueling yourself with personal development each day has the power to alter your mindset. . Oh, and TELL yourself you can do this. . . β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’ Because you CAN.β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’
One of the things I’ve learned over the past year is that my struggles are usually more mental than anything else. . {Anyone else feel this way?}πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Don’t get me wrong. . Was it PHYSICALLY difficult to lift all 300 pounds of me off the ground the first time I tried to do a workout? βœ”οΈDefinitely. . Was is EMOTIONALLY exhausting to experience defeat each time my arms were shaking too badly to hold my body in place? βœ”οΈAbsolutely. . But neither of those things compared to the MENTAL battle I was fighting with myself each day. (Can you see the signs posted behind me in this pic? Mental.) - - - - - - - - . One of the most amazing things that Coaching has brought me is the desire to become better in ALL aspects of my life. Making personal development part of my daily routine has improved my outlook on life, my attitude toward situations, and my belief in myself. . And because I really want to focus on building my mental strength, I picked up a new book this week. It’s called β€œThirteen Things Mentally Strong People DON’T Do,” and I’m super excited to get started! . Want to know the very first thing on the list?! Me, too.... . So, here’s to pouring a glass of🍷 and diving in!
