Here we go.
Getting ready for another week, more of my 80 day journey unfolding ... If I’m being completely honest it took me too long- - - to realize that life has no prize for the busiest. And that you’ll get burnt out quickly if you’re not consistently filling your cup.
So aside from the obvious reason of FEELING better, here are a couple unexpected benefits I’ve found once I started increasing self-care through my detox program last month that I’m working to keep up with this year.
Self-care helps boost your immune system. For real. That’s why moving our bodies, taking hot baths, simply nurturing ourselves with a healthier regimen... helps our bodies build its defenses against those nasty cold bugs that like to attack when we’re at our weakest.
Will help you relieve stress and sleep better.

for this recommendation- Balance & Serenity are heavenly. Self care helps us give more to others. Not less. I didn’t realize it at the time, but for many years I was one of ones carrying around the belief that self-care was selfish.
