ты никогда не знаешь, чего ждать от завтрашнего дня в рекавери. и, скорее всего, тяжёлых, неприятных моментов будет больше. рпп отнимает у тебя все: одобрение социума, доверие к людям, принципы, идеалы. но это все уйдет и заменится чем-то лучшим. я знаю одно: рпп не может отобрать у тебя улыбку. как же ты иначе будешь сражаться со всеми этими монстрами внутри тебя? у тебя есть только одно оружие. сегодня на обед я съела кучу картошки фри, пачку чипсов, шоколад и творожную запеканку. и знаете что? мне нормально. да, мой живот вздувается (это нормально), да, я хочу спать (это нормально), да, я какой-то отрезок времени чувствовала себя самым толстым человеком в мире (а это уже иррациональность мышления), но я знаю, что это нужно моему организму! и он лучше знает, что и как мне необходимо есть. я не собираюсь больше предавать его и обманывать ИП или, тем более, диетами. только сейчас я понимаю, что мое квази-рекавери длилось около двух лет. считала себя почти здоровой, а вот эти вот запреты на сладкое и фастфуд и вот эти вот приступы КП - это так, это вам показалось. но рано или поздно ты понимаешь, что все это не работает. загоны из головы не уйдут сами по себе. нужно каждый день находить в себе силы продолжать рекавери. потому что только так можно начать путь, который приведет тебя к здоровому сознанию. #рпп #орпп #расстройствапищевогоповедения #рекавери #рекаверивин #бодипозитив #кп #компульсивноепереедание #переедание #феминизм #ed #eatingdisorders #recovery #recoverywin #truerecovery #bingeeatingdisorderrecovery #bodypositive #feminism

Me, Myself & My Poor Body Image Often times with an eating disorder, an unrealistic perception of one’s body occurs. Often when you’re not sure about your gender occurs too. I am non-binary. I was assigned female at birth, and despite loving makeup, pastel goth clothes, and other traditionally feminine things- I am NOT a girl. My pronouns are they/them/theirs. However, when people use she/her/hers, it’s no big deal cuz I haven't get out as a nonbinary. Now, I also have bulimia and anorexia nervosa that brought along body dysmorphia. From a I've been alert about my mental health, I wondered if there was something other than girl or boy and how nice it would be. But what is it? How could I become that? Would I have to sacrifice my disney princesses to be that? There’s no such thing or else why would teachers say “okay, boys and girls". I felt so guilty (and still do) that the term of endearment of lady made my stomach churn. I used to shrug it off but by the time I could articulate why it didn’t fit, I wanted to scream “I’M NOT A LADY I’M JUST ME”. After all, how should either of my parents know? The doctors said I was a girl and I loved a good lipstick. Perhaps I’m exaggerating, maybe I just need to face the fact that I am and always will be a G-I-R-L. The way my parents introduced other people. Time for a bit of self love tonight.. I’ve struggled so much this week with my eating disorder. I’ve just wanted to eat everything in sight but I’ve had to completely ignore those horrible thoughts and carry on fighting. For any body out there who is struggling with an eating disorder, I know your pain, but we will get through it! I’m not perfect but I know how far I’ve come.. I’ve lost nearly 3 stone and I’ve gone 32 days binge free. So I love this quote because I am a fighter and I know how amazing I am for getting through the last few months. After much reflection and debate, I’ve decided to post this. I don’t even like my husband seeing me in short shorts and a bra so count yourself lucky! 😂 Thank you for all of your thoughtful input on whether body comparison pics are appropriate in this community. . . The reason I decided to post this: The post is neither a celebration of or an attack on my body. In fact, it’s not even really about my body. . . For me, these pictures represent the power of rejecting diet culture and embracing intuitive eating. . . I reject diet culture because of the first picture: I was at my largest after I binged for practically 4mos straight following one of many restrictive diets I had put myself on (and successfully lost weight from). My weight rose far beyond where it was before the diet. My body was hungry and angry and fighting back. . . The second two pictures confirm what everyone says about intuitive eating and honestly, provide comfort to me given I’m still in the infancy of this journey. In the first, I’m coming off of 2 rounds of Whole30. This was the last diet I ever followed. Then, I found intuitive eating. And here I am, 5 months later, and while my body has clearly added on some weight, I’m shocked that the pictures look as similar as they do. I’ve eaten EVERYTHING I’ve wanted over these past five months. Ive rejected all my food rules and the result has NOT been uncontrolled, extreme weight gain. . . First picture: body’s response to restrictive dieting. . . Second pic: body during restrictive dieting. . . Third pic: Body’s response to 5 mos of intuitive eating. I qualify this one with the amount of time I’ve been trying to eat intuitively because I’m confident that as I begin to trust my body more and my body begins to trust me, my body will likely continue to change. . . Is my body where I want it? Heck no. Not in any of the three pictures, actually. But that’s not the point. This is actually not about what my body looks like, it’s about how my body responds to the practice of intuitive eating. .

Then came Austria. Worked on a goat farm in the Alps for a month and witnessed life in actual paradise. A badass forest mama who spoke exclusively German taught me it was possible to ACTUALLY ENJOY SALADS EVERY DAY and eat more or less the same thing always, a habitual diet. In their case it was mostly cheese so I packed on loads of weight and didn't shit for three weeks but hey! Bigass mountains were climbed (gasping for air and/or death) and lessons were learned, seeds sewn for a healthier way of being. This was part of my night snack along with some chocolate. I always eat the prawn cocktail discos first and then the cheese and onion ones. Always these last, although I like them they're just so strong they burn my mouth off! I am struggling to stay stopped now. I know I've had enough and I know if I eat more I'll only be eating for entertainment because for the longest time it's been my only hobby and then I'll end up feeling sick and that's a dangerous ground for me to get to. DUAL DAY Сегодня что-то многовато съела, думаю это из-за волнения перед зачетом и полностью нарушенного распорядка дня 😒 На завтрак каша и 2 бутера с сыром, потом выпила кофе и 1/2 шоко из Старбакса перед зачетом захомячила. На обед, как обычно, лапша🔥, а потом замороженный йогурт и 1 длинная мармеладка. __ Может в дни, когда что-то получается, что-то другое видимо не будет идеально. Сдать 2 зачета, то дико загоняться о еде. Мдэ Просто надеюсь, не буду блевать(:

I used to eat practically nothing; a special k bar for breakfast, half a tin of soup for lunch and a piece of frozen birds eye chicken for tea. No weight lifting, instead gym classes or cardio every night. I was NOT healthy but what's sad is, people noticed more about how I ate on the right. "Why eat 6 times a day?" Just a reminder of why diets don’t work: Diets become a vicious cycle of restriction, deprivation, and eventual gaining back of any weight lost. When you deny your body the food it craves, you end up making it that much more appealing. (Just like many things in life, when we are told we can’t have something, we want it more!) Eventually all this deprivation and cravings lead to overeating or bingeing, which in turn typically brings feelings of shame and guilt for “failing” the diet. Dinner was beef stew. I have really struggled today. I don't know why. I have just been really hungry. Aiming for 3000 calories a day as I'm underweight, but because I'm going to go over by a mere 80 calories today it's been stressing me all day and I know how ridiculous that is especially as I know myself that I am underweight and WANT to actually put weight on, it's just hard to get out of the mindset of strict counts and restrictions. Вот я и дома, очень устала после школы и курсов, хочу спать😴 На завтра просто дофига дз, хз когда его буду делать( Сочинение на два урока, опрос по матем, тест по информатике и конкурс ораторов по английскому, УЖАС. по питанию все хорошо, съела 90 г шоко (на фото), вкусная и недорогая) Вес увеличился, а в ляжке небольшой минус, странно, хотя это скорее всего вес воды/еды. Сегодня только первый день, надеюсь все пойдет хорошо, ибо из-за вечных жб не могу даже нормально уроки учить. Не будем о грустном (хотя куда без этого), я пойду кушать шоко с чайком.
