Yesterday morning I got to visit my favorite pond in the Adirondacks for another lovely sunrise. This was my first visit here in the winter, and at balmy 1°F, it was cold enough to really get me in the mood. The snowshoe in from the road was delightful, and it was a perfectly clear morning - the only cloud in the sky was the little lenticular cloud on the summit of Whiteface.
There's nothing quite like puppy love. This weekend was our lab-mix Penny's second birthday. 🍰 She's been the perfect addition to our little family and I cant wait to share so many more adventures with her.
I love the change of seasons and I love every single season. Each one has its own outdoor activity that I enjoy and yearn for, however, at the tail end of each season, I’m always anxious for the next one. Except fall. It feels like it’s here and gone in the blink of an eye. Something (or everything) about it is magical and I know I spend a portion of every day dreaming about it, but today, I just can’t get Fall off my mind.
