So I’ve actually started to implement some daily sets of vacuums in the morning before drinking or eating anything. I’m trying to pull that shit in towards my spine, at least that’s how I visualize it. Reason I’m doing that is obviously to improve my vacuum but also to strengthen my transversus abdominis as my stomach tends to get distended by as little as a glass of water lmao, so you can imagine how things are looking after a big meal.

Stand up paddle boarding is fun, peaceful and a great core workout. . Many people ask if it’s hard. No. But, I do have excellent balance. I’ve gone with a few friends that did not find it so easy, but my 17 year old son, who doesn’t have the greatest balance also found it pretty easy. First things first, you have to start out on your knees and get somewhere to stand up. Once there, you use your two hands for balance and hop your feet up between them and stand up. I suppose this is the hardest part of the process, but once standing all you have to do is maintain your balance. Then you just paddle yourself wherever your heart takes you. The best thing is getting a waterproof case for your phone (I have one that hangs like a necklace around my neck) and listening to music while paddling. Seriously, it really is awesome! . As far at fitness goes, SUPing is fantastic, it’s low-impact, fun, peaceful and an all around great workout. Paddle boarding is killer on your core as it’s constantly engaged while your maintaining balance. Your arms get a workout from the paddling and your legs are engaged the entire time too. After 2 hours of SUPing, my legs are definitely tired. Now I don’t know about you, but I would SO MUCH rather spend 2 hours out on the water, in fresh air, having fun than spending 2 hours in the gym.
