Yesterday’s sketch from my 100 day challenge. It was coop day....here’s a bit of our morning: 1️⃣coffee, first, always. 2️⃣im pretty hardcore on skin-care and taking a good chunk of time for myself in the morning. My whole day is different when I feel like I have healthy, moisturized skin. Because literally everything else in my life as a #homeschool
is pretty much chaos lol. 3️⃣ pack the lunch! This is the hardest thing for a homeschool mom because we never have to pack lunches. I usually stand there for forever figuring out what to do. Lately I’ve been loving #yumbox
and how it tightly seals and organizes everything. We love @kleankanteen
water bottles. Those babies have endured all kinds of abuse and are still going strong. 4️⃣ I send the boys to “attempt” hair combing but those cowlicks are permanent, poor things. They have my hair. 5️⃣ while they’re combing their hair I make breakfast. Usually eggs, steamed rolled oats, or spelt flour pancakes. We have a slew of allergies, sensory processing issues, and digestive disorders so it’s fairly simple, pure foods around here to keep us all surviving. This, mixed in with a healthy serving of Dunkin’ Donuts 🍩 after coop. Balance 😉6️⃣finally, I send the little dudes to the car while I make my protein shake. I’m allergic to eggs and can’t digest meat very well first thing jn the morning so it’s oats or protein shake. Yesterday I served eggs for the kids so protein shake it is. If you’re a homeschool Mom what does your coop morning look like?? I find it hard to get out the door because we never usually have to go anywhere. Basically, we live in pajamas and read books normally.
