Today, yet again, another individual tried to instill fear into a city that so desperately doesn’t need it. Yet again, I got to witness how defiant New Yorkers are as they continue to go about their days and not let their steps be faltered. It’s with confidence we take these streets—not ignorance or irresponsibility, but with the realization and awareness again that life is really damn short. God goes before us, we’ve got nothing to lose. Thankful the NYPD is so on top of everything and willing to respond so quickly and intensely. Grateful to be in New York at this time, despite the things that may be happening all around us.
