I have to say my first vegan Thanksgiving dinner was 💣 I'm pretty proud of myself. I remember when we first decided to go vegan we didn't know what we were going to do for the holidays. I now know that I can turn pretty much any dish into vegan and it's just as delicious 😋 So grateful for this plate of food 🍽

Firstly, happy thanksgiving everyone!!! Secondly, I am so surprised I stayed in my deficit. I had a light breakfast and snack too to prepare lol. But I should have know cause I get full so fast haha. This means more room for the vegan cheesecake lol. 💖 I hope everyone is doing good today too!!

Most days I eat vegetarian/vegan as there are so many terrible animal practices out there that I don't trust big corporations & their processes. I understand that it's cost effective mass producing eggs & meat but where has all the compassion gone for the way these animals are farmed & then killed? They are concious beings too and feel pain. By eating vegies there is no guilt afterwards as you can pretty much eat as much as you want without any bad health effects.
So for todays dinner I have made broccolini, brussel sprouts, asparagus & portabello mushrooms in a sweet sesame oil & balsamic dressing. I also made a sweet potato mash with cream & nutmeg.
