Every morning we are born again.
What we do today is what matters most.
For today’s #transformationtuesday I thought I’d share my tiger pose from the park today. The grip flip used to feel impossible for this one. Consistency in your practice is the key to any progression. A little yoga every day goes a lot farther than a lot of yoga 1-2x/week, even if it’s only 10 minutes a day.
Feeling very autumn ready in my new @aloyoga 🍂🖤 #aloyoga#beagoddess
Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.
It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100s of exercises.
Early mornings with bushy hair and sleep crust in eyes and adjusting to too-lit-areas-for-five-thirty AM.
I used to only really do yoga as a form of stretching, or if I wanted to workout but not truly work up too much of a sweat. But throughout the past year I have grown to love it more and more. It is an hour of focusing on my body movement, on seeing how far I can push myself, of not thinking of anything but my breath and the pose. I am by no means great at it--I mean, standing head to knee, really?!--but I have grown to look forward to waking up early to get my 6 AM yoga flows in (as pictured here).
What's something you've learned to love over time? A food, a class, a hobby, anything. Passion for me is a tool for happiness and for change in this world, and I want to hear about yours.
